Castle Hill Quarry’s sedimentary limestone contains a high proportion of calcium carbonate. Not all limestone is suitable for use as agricultural lime. Oolitic limestone from the Mendip Hills will not have the same high performance value as Castle Hill’s carboniferous limestone. We will supply either coarsely or finely ground lime to perfectly meet the requirements for your soils.
